Jack Peñate

Jack Peñate (; born 2 September 1984) is an English singer, songwriter, and musician.
==Early life==
Peñate's grandfather was Mervyn Peake, author of the ''Gormenghast'' books. He attended St. Olave's Preparatory School in New Eltham and Alleyn's School. He undertook a bachelor's degree in Ancient World Studies at University College London, but dropped out at the end of the second year as interest from record labels grew. His best friend was Adele. He was a member of the National Youth Theatre.
